The IHP Alliance aims to assist stakeholders interested in implementing IHPs by offering guidance, resources, and support. By leveraging the collective knowledge, networks, and experience of ACEEE, NEMA, and the RTC, the collaboration aims to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and energy-efficient industrial sector.

The IHP Alliance was launched in partnership with the following organizations:

ACEEE

About ACEEE: The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), a nonprofit research organization, develops transformative policies to reduce energy waste and combat climate change. ACEEE’s IHP team is building toward large-scale support for implementation and evaluation of IHPs across the country as we look to engage with manufacturers, policymakers, energy efficiency programs, and industrial companies to pursue the most promising pathways toward industrial decarbonization.

About NEMA: The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) represents over 300 electrical equipment and medical imaging manufacturers that make safe, reliable, and efficient products and systems. Together, our members contribute 1% of U.S. GDP and directly provide nearly 460,000 American jobs, contributing more than $250 billion to the U.S. economy. NEMA’s Energy Transition Campaign is focused on accelerating the energy transition through thought leadership; standardization; policy engagement that advances electrification; energy storage; grid resiliency and transmission; and energy efficiency in buildings and manufacturing. One of those technologies behind the energy transition is IHPs and NEMA represents a neutral forum of IHP suppliers who want to grow the North American market.

About RTC: The Renewable Thermal Collaborative (RTC) is the global coalition for companies, institutions, and governments committed to scaling up renewable heating and cooling at their facilities, dramatically cutting carbon emissions. RTC Members and Solutions Providers recognize the growing demand and necessity for renewable heating and cooling and the urgent need to meet this demand in a manner that delivers sustainable, cost-competitive options at scale. The RTC aims to accelerate IHP deployment by sharing information through tools and case studies, engaging with policymakers, and building relationships between potential buyers and suppliers.
