Join the Industrial Heat Pump (IHP) Alliance for a virtual IHP Bootcamp on Thursday, November 13 from 10am-5pm ET!

The November 13 IHP Bootcamp is designed for energy managers, efficiency implementers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) professionals, and other industry practitioners looking to deepen their understanding of industrial heat pumps. If your role involves evaluating and implementing energy efficiency and electrification projects at existing manufacturing plants or designing new industrial facilities, this event is for you!

The Bootcamp will dive deep into techno-economic considerations for IHP deployment to help you refine the portfolio of technologies and resources you recommend to industrial end-users. The full-day interactive program will feature expert speakers and opportunities for peer learning and networking. From planning process integration to securing financing and navigating utility considerations, you will leave the Bootcamp with actionable insights to support the evaluation, planning, and execution of successful IHP projects for industrial clients.

Learning Objectives:

By attending this Bootcamp, you will:

  • Understand Industrial Heat Pumps: Learn about the mechanisms, types, and applications of IHPs, as well as their environmental and operational benefits.
  • Evaluate Technical Feasibility: Gain insights into key technical specifications, project feasibility tools, and supplier evaluation methods to effectively plan IHP projects.
  • Integrate Heat Pumps into Existing Systems: Understand best practices for integrating IHPs, including real-world case studies showcasing successful implementations.
  • Simplify Financial Planning: Explore financing models, understand cost structures, and discover available grants and incentives to support your clients’ business case.
  • Navigate Utility Considerations: Learn how utility rate structures, infrastructure, and rebates impact project feasibility and how to engage utilities effectively.
  • Secure Buy-In: Share strategies to help clients present a compelling financial and operational case to their finance and facility teams.

The Bootcamp will be hosted on Zoom. Please register using the form below by close of business Thursday, October 30. If you have questions, see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and reach out to Ruth Checknoff (ruth@dgardiner.com) and Andrew Hoffmeister (ahoffmeister@aceee.org).
